Terms of use

These terms apply to the MDS Clinical Case Album software (“the app”) and this website, made by Sajan Thesis Works, Trivandrum, Kerala, India (“we”, “us”). By downloading the app, using it, or buying a licence, you agree to them. Please also read the privacy policy, disclaimer and refund and cancellation policy.
1. Free trial
You may download and use the app free of charge for 30 days from the first time you open it. During the trial, every exported PDF carries a TRIAL watermark; after it, exporting needs an activated licence. The trial is for evaluating the app with your own photos and print shop before you buy.
2. The licence
- A licence costs ₹500 (Indian rupees, inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise at checkout) and is valid for one year from the date of payment.
- It allows one person to use the app on one computer at a time. You may move it to another computer from your account page once in 90 days.
- Renewing adds one year to the same licence key.
- The licence is a right to use the app. The app, its design, layouts and code remain our property; you do not buy ownership of them.
- The app checks the licence online when it is activated and about every two weeks. It works offline for up to 30 days between checks.
3. What you must not do
- Share, sell, publish or transfer your licence key to anyone else.
- Copy, modify, decompile, reverse engineer or crack the app, or remove or hide the trial watermark by any means other than an activated licence.
- Use the app or website for anything unlawful, or to process photographs without the consent required by law and by your institution.
- Try to break or overload the website, the licence server or the payment system.
We may block a licence key that has been shared, published or obtained through fraud, without refund.
4. Payment and delivery
Payments are processed by Razorpay. The licence key is a digital product: it appears on your account page as soon as Razorpay confirms the payment, and it is sent to your email address. Nothing is shipped. If the key does not appear within an hour of a successful payment, contact us.
5. Your work and your responsibilities
- Your photos, albums and PDFs belong to you. Keep your own backups of project files and photos; we cannot recover files from your computer.
- You are responsible for having the patient's consent to use clinical photographs, for hiding identifying features where needed, and for following your university's and department's rules for case records.
- Check every page of your album, and a printed proof, before final printing and submission.
6. Updates and availability
We may release updates that add, change or remove features. We try to keep the website and licence server available, but cannot promise they will never be interrupted. If the licence server is unavailable, the app keeps working offline for up to 30 days since its last check.
7. Limitation of liability
The app is provided as described in the disclaimer. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the app or a licence is limited to the amount you paid for the licence in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses such as reprinting costs, missed deadlines, or loss of data.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The new version is posted here with a new date and applies from then on; it does not take away the remaining validity of a licence you have already paid for.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala have jurisdiction over any dispute.
